Major & Terra

Today Major and I wanted to walk with Terra, another grand-puppy belonging to my youngest daughter and her boyfriend. The winds were strong and cold so we opted for a scenic mystery ride instead. Turned out to be delightful and just as fun.
My handsome fella

Major & Terra interpretation of Titanic

Terra is labeled a German Shorthair bird dog of great lineage. However, when she comes to visit GG there is no talk of anything but snuggles and lovins. She is one of the most laid back chill dogs I have ever been around.

Its beauty was deceiving. Windy and cold

It wasn’t that long ago I was wiping sticky fingers off my truck windows and crumbs from the back seat. Now I find myself cleaning dog drool and sand from all windows and surfaces. Times have changed but the chores have not.

What wonderful photos of all your four legged friends. I love seeing dogs with the wind in their ears as though it is the most wonderful thing for them to do.

Love the photos! Our Finn loves to rest his chin on the open window and watch the world go by with the wind on his face.

This post makes me smile. I have an eleven month old Rhodesian Ridgeback who has the energy of a nuclear power plant. He’s challenging for sure. I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren, 4 of which are teenagers. I don’t think I have faced such a stubborn challenge as I have with this puppy. All the while, I am enjoying him and the messes he makes everyday. We too, have a lot of sand. My car is filled with it and my windows have nose prints and drool to match.
